Terms of use

Last updated: 19 July 2026

By using Reserve you agree to these terms. They are short and written to be read.

What Reserve is

Reserve is an independent guide to the wine lists of London restaurants. We collect published wine list information — wines, vintages, prices — and make it searchable. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any restaurant listed on the site unless we explicitly say otherwise, and we take no bookings and sell no wine.

Accuracy of information

Wine lists change constantly, and the restaurants own their lists — not us. We work hard to keep the data current: every listing shows the date it was last verified, and listings that have not been re-verified within 90 days are flagged and demoted rather than presented as current. Even so, prices, vintages and availability can change without notice, and the information on Reserve is provided for general guidance only. Always confirm with the restaurant before travelling for a particular bottle.

Your account

Accounts use passwordless sign-in by magic link or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone with that access can sign in as you. We may suspend or close accounts used to abuse the service. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-download or republish the site’s content as a competing dataset or service;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service; or
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The editorial content, design and code of Reserve belong to us. The underlying facts of a wine list — which wines a restaurant sells and at what price — are factual information published by the restaurants; nothing in these terms claims ownership of a restaurant’s own list.

Liability

Reserve is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on the information in it — including a listed wine being unavailable or differently priced when you visit. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using Reserve after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions? Email hello@reserve.example.
